I was very pleased with my vet consult. I would definitely recommend BVH! I can't thank the girls an Kylie, Dr Stephen Rabie enough for they done in saving my dog with the surgery on her right leg, many thanks you are the best, Thanks again.
Lyle Lambie. These guys are great, both our little Chihuahuas have been going here since we got them, always well looked after and very reasonably priced too. Just wanted to say thank you to the beautiful staff who were all so lovely to my partner and I and our furbaby mack when we brough him in yesterday.
They were absolutely fantastic from the phrantic phone call to putting our girl Zena straight in. The girls at reception and nurses as well as the most important, the vets, thank you very much. I couldn't recommend Baldivis Vets enough! Always willing to go out of their way to help, nothing is too much! Superb place and anyone who cleans my 2 dogs anal glands out needs a medal. Thanks for the great caring service. The after hours staff and the Vet were so friendly and caring, and helped as much as they could, unfortunately we found ourselves back the next morning with still a very ill little man.
They took him under their wings and did all they could to help him, unfortunately he didn't make it. We were devastated and heartbroken beyond words, but you were all caring and understanding, we now have him home with us delivered by a great guy from Lawnswood. This whole experience was heartbreaking, but was made better with smiling and caring staff at your clinic Thank you so much to Drs Stephen, Emily, the two lovely receptionts that listened and helped our Syd. Thank you also to the Baldivis overnight hospital staff and all that have helped look after our boy so far.
We still have some more steps to a full recovery but are so glad we got that second opinion. You saved us money but most importantly you made our boy comfortable. And the expertise of your clinicians goes way beyond that of someone whom relies on Ct scan equipment. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. He had a TPLO operation done by them, and we have been very happy with the high level of care and attention he's had at Baldivis Vet.
We can't thank you all enough! I recently had to have my beautiful faithful cat "Shakira" put to sleep, my heart was broken, after 12 years of love and companionship her time had come. I can not praise the staff enough. A young lady by the name of Kylie was so caring and compassionate, I wanted to tell her you are in the right career you made an awful situation bearable. Thank you. The Vet was really nice too he was so gentle and caring, I was able to cradle her in my arms and love her while she peacefully drifted off.

Thank you for making our last moments loving. After moving to baldivis recently from mandurah with our 5 rats we were nervous about trying a new vet clinic. I have been completely blown away with the amount of knowledge, compassion and thoughtfulness the vets at baldivis have shown towards our little fur babies. We have seen several vets at the hospital and all have been not only incredible vets but incredible people.
Also a mention to the vet nurses that run the front reception, beautiful people who treat every animal like they are the most important being in the room. I rushed my 14 year old staffy Tyson to these guys on Saturday with a tiger snake bite. From the first phone call in the car on the way, they were all amazing, meeting me in the car park and taking my boy.
I had never met any of these people before but just new he was in good hands as I had to leave to get my girl dog in case she too had been bitten. When I returned my boy was in a bad way but they let me in to say goodbye, I was gutted at leaving both my dogs there not knowing if either would survive. They were upfront from the very beginning about costs and kept me informed the whole way through, that first night Dr Neil and Dr Kevin phoned me every two hours to update me on my boys progress.

Thanks to these amazing people I now have both my dogs at home and healthy. Thank you to each and every one of you.
I can't thank you enough. Took my Malamute in last night after he thought it would be a great idea to eat a dog biscuit and the snap lock bag it was in. The ladies working the reception desk were brilliant, very friendly and loved having a chat about my boy. Dr Hugo was so kind, spent time cuddling my boy and making sure he was comfortable before taking him out back to make him throw it all up. Even checked to make sure it was ok to shave his leg.
Amazing service, and very well priced for an after hours service. I had to bring my kitty Steve in yesterday. So warm and supportive through the bad news. Dr Neal was so patient and kind. He took the time to explain everything thoroughly and even waited while I said my goodbyes. This was the most recent of many visits and I've always been very impressed with the customer service and knowledge of the staff, in the barn, emergency and regular practice.
Fantastic vet surgery and by far the best I've dealt with. Thank you! I love this vet hospital. The staff are friendly, caring, knowledgeable and professional. They often go the extra mile to make my life easier in a range of small ways, and this is something I value immensely. The grounds and facilities are beautifully-kept, well-planned and welcoming to both pets and their owners - large parking spaces, a grassed area for running dogs and specialised cat rooms are just some examples of this.
Most of all, I trust the team implicitly with the lives of my two furbabies, whom I have had for almost 12 years now. I have an Animal Science degree and have spent time as a vet nurse, so I do not give such praise lightly. My furbabies are everything to me. She was microchipped and we called our local vets looking for her.
We never knew what happened. Until Monday night when she walked past me as I got home. Just strolled by meowing for her dinner. I couldn't believe my eyes so off to the vets to get her chip checked. Only to be told that it's a blank chip and it isn't registered. Thankfully the nurse was on the ball, gave me her chip ID number and told me to check it against the vet who inserted it.
Well it's her!! Thank you for helping us get an answer and explaining what I needed to do. We are so happy to know it's her she was only 18 months old when she disappeared and still small.

Just wanted first to say thank-you to Deb and Nicole baldivis vets. We had our dog giving birth and unfortunately our regular vet provided little to no advice. As first time breeders we where a little unsure what to expect but not naive. After calling baldivis vets they provided honest and direct advise. We were a little unsure as our dog had given birth to four dogs however two were still born. Nicole put me through to deb and after explaining what was happening reassured us that all was good however call back at any time.
As per debs advice the birth went as she explained, I must add we had other people giving advise that wasn't positive. I offered to pay for the advise however was told that it was part of the service. I latter called once I thought she had finished giving birth, for once they remember me and put me through to deb again. Once again she provided me with heaps of free advice. It is compatible with many other antibiotics including penicillin antibiotics, aminoglycosides, and some cephalosporins. Metronidazole is used to treat protozoal infections in dogs and cats including Giardia, Entamoeba, Trichomonas, and Balantidium. It also is used to treat anaerobic bacterial infections. Metronidazole has immune-modulating activity and may be prescribed to treat inflammatory bowel disease. It may be used to treat colitis caused by other antibiotics, periodontal disease especially in cats , Clostridium perfringens enterotoxemia, tetanus, diarrhea of undetermined cause, pancreatic insufficiency with small-intestinal bacterial overgrowth , and complications of severe liver disease.
Topical metronidazole gel is used to treat skin infections, such as feline chin acne. Metronidazole usually is tolerated better if given with food. There is a wide variety of flavors and preparations made by compounding pharmacies to deal with the problems associated with the bitter taste. Because of the variety of uses for this drug, dose amount, frequency, and duration of treatment vary widely.
Metronidazole is used primarily with other antibiotics to treat mixed bacterial infections in which anaerobic bacteria are present, for example, pleuropneumonia, peritonitis, and abdominal abscesses. It also is used prophylactically after colic or other abdominal surgery when mixed bacterial infections are a risk. Metronidazole generally is given orally although it also is absorbed rectally.
